So Red This Morning!

In the mid 30s....colder than I thought.  The sky was on fire while the sun was rising.

Fed the boys and turned them out.  Brought their Rambos over from the grooming room in case we really get snow in a few days.

My friend Judy picked me up before noon and we went to the Churchville Grill for lunch.
Both of us were bad.
Got into work mode when I got back to the farm.  Did some laundry, changed sheets and vacuumed.  As soon as I put all clean stuff on the bed, Little Wonder was on it.

I did a couple more loads of laundry and then LW and I took it easy by the fire.

Gary went to yoga and out to lunch and when he got home, worked on a couple storm windows.
Fortunately all those red skies did not bring rain.....yet.

Chores at 5.
The boys coats are looking so good.

This afternoon I knuckled under and roasted a chicken for dinner.

Made some mashed potatoes and a quick 1940s carrot and jello salad.
Yum.
Night all.

PS
Do these two look like brothers?

  1. Gosh, I recall changing from screens to storm windows each fall and spring. Back then it was a pain.
    That sure is a job.

Looks like it was a bright red morning, glad no hard rains came. We have snow today.

  2. LW knows how it's done! You weren't bad, you were hungry. Yes, they do look like brothers.
