I Think We Broke the Record

82 degrees today!

I cleaned and filled the water trough this morning.  Beautiful reflections in it.

I worked on the upstairs, remaking the sleigh beds and did some laundry.  No guests coming in the near future.
Took it easy much of the afternoon and then made a quick trip to Wegmans and Country Max for some shavings.
I made another batch of cabbage soup and put it in the crock pot until dinner.  So delicious.
Served it with apples and pumpernickel bread....love this combination.

A lot more leaves fell today.
Chores around 6:30....almost dark.

Tucked in the boys and left some of the doors open as it's going to be a pretty warm night.

Night all.

  1. Love the photo of Buddy! We were 35 degrees above average temperature on Monday. It's going to be cooler now but still about the average. I made country style pork ribs and potato pancakes last evening.
