It cooled down to the 70s but much of the day was very muggy. We did not get the rain they were predicting.
Rebel was holding his own this morning, but looked a little stiff.
After chores I mowed the lawn and around the pastures.
Yesterday I removed a foot and a half of grass from the place Gary grew the garlic. We will probably turn it into grass and he just might plant garlic in the raised beds. He sold or gave away so much, he only has about 400 cloves to plant. This year he had 1,000.
Our practice started a little early today.
We also ended early so we could go down to Chris Wilson's Guitar Store for a little jam.
There were about 8 of us and we played in his front window.
It was a lot of fun....just busking.
These sessions may continue on Wednesdays. Home near 5:30 and no cooking. We went to Fazool's for their Wednesday special. Home in time for chores.
Got the boys tucked in and I am so ready to hit the hay.
Night all.
If my days were 1/8th as full as yours I would be down for the count. This sounds like a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteLooking a tad muddy out there, and great to see you all playing in the window. Would be nice if anyone passing buy threw some cash in a hat for you !!!
