Soaking

85, sunny and muggy today.

I took off Rebel's boot while he ate breakfast and let him go out barefooted.  Still gimpy.

After chores I drove down to Country Max to get more sole packs and some shavings...

and when I got home, brought Rebel (Buddy joined us) into the grooming room for a soak.

He always stands there like a champ and Buddy just watched quietly.

I had given him a gram of bute with breakfast and after getting rewrapped he was moving much better.

The farrier is coming tomorrow so she should be able to see if she can find a sign of an abscess,

Finn came up to help Gary scrape and prime the house (never ending)....made them pasta and a salad for lunch.

We had a great rehearsal this afternoon.  Next gig will be August 4th at the Brockport Farm Market.

We must have sounded pretty good, as Little Wonder fell asleep.

We went out for a sandwich tonight so no cooking.  Did not bring the boys in until 8:30 and it was pretty dark....some rain on the way.

I was able to stay away from the TV most of the day, but it looks like progress is being made.  Unfortunately, the opposition has been nasty, getting even worse.  Don't have a clue who will be the VP.

I do believe that JD was not a good choice for T and he is going to turn off a LOT of people.  Biden was fine tonight...let's see how the next 6 months go.
