So Late

Usually I am not starting my post after 9!  I'm off my schedule as I took a VERY long nap this afternoon.  I woke up at 3:30am and could not get back to sleep..tho I did stay in bed.  Faded like crazy by 3pm.

This morning I did the chores and then finished mowing the lawn.  Very happy with JD.

Gary's raised beds are full of activity.

We had a new blossom this morning.
The plants really love being out on the porch.
Today I picked up lunch and took it out to Andrea's to celebrate her recent birthday.  Her son has an RV at the farm and we sat in there.  Pretty neat.  Her grandkids love it and they hope to go camping soon..

Just as I was leaving....Buddy's Mom showed up with some farm goodies for Andrea.
She brought along her "puppy" who is all grown up now.
Andrea has a hibiscus tree that is full of unbelievable blossoms.

By the time I left, the sky turned black and there was a major downpour on my way home.
I stopped at Lowes and they helped me get the JD registered.
Chores at 8.  By then the temperature was down by 10 degrees.

The first clematis appeared today.  Other than that, there is not much color in the gardens.

Simple dinner.  Linguine with fresh tomatoes and caramelized onions.
Night all.

  1. What a pleasant day you had with friends. It's good to know that the JD is working well. That pasta dish looks very good to me!
