100 with the heat index. Yuck!
Time to go outside Little Wonder.
Alice arrived at 10m for spa day and it was so hot both boys were VERY mellow.
I can't stand being outside when it's like this. Gary had Yoga, went out to lunch, a garden club meeting and a 5:30 appointment. Little Wonder and I vegged in front of fans. Baked beans and hots for dinner (made it in a crock pot so I wouldn't heat up the kitchen). Our house really knuckled under to the heat.
Tucked the boys in at 8 and sponged them off. They must not like this weather either.
Fortunately they have 2 run-ins, the indoor and the shed roof available all day long. It did not get bad today until about noon.
Night all.
And some golden flowers to finish off a scorching day.I would wilt with that temperature!!!
ReplyDeleteI've am also intolerant of heat. We have a nice day today, then more rain. Alice is a trooper to come out in that heat! I hope things are better today.
