Mother's Day

Coolish and the best part of the day started early evening.

Scott, Jenny, Finn and Coop were coming to the farm to prepare a brunch and I set the table before going out for chores.  Also picked Jenny some tulips and Gary got her a jar of jam at Hurd's.

After chores I took a quick shower and they arrived around 9:30.
Jenny took the orders and Scott made special omelettes for each of us.

We had them....toast or bagels, home fries, bacon and a spectacular fruit salad.  So delicious.

Before they left, Gary gave them a grand tour of his raised beds.
I knew the hibiscus plants would pump out more blossoms as soon as they were on the porch and the first one popped.
Of course we all had some down time before dinner and evening chores.

I had attempted to thaw out some chicken but it just was not going to happen so we threw together some grilled Zweigles, chips and coleslaw.

Little Wonder sure looks like a different dog with his ears back!

The sky was spectacular this evening.

Tucked the boys in around 7:30.

I hope all of you Moms were able to have a very special day.
Night all.

  3. You had a wonderful day! LW does look like a different dog. Still utterly adorable, though. The flowers are beauties.
