A Long Overdue Spa Day

Last night I went to bed early and managed to stay there until 6am.  Got up and did my usual routine....sat down with Little Wonder and watched a movie until chore time.

A little before 7:45 we had a very strong downpour and a couple minutes later it looked like this.

The temperature was in the high 40s last night so the boys got to be naked then and most of today.  We got up to 55 degrees and then it started to drop.

I ran 4 errands after chores.  This is what I saw at the Dollar store and could not resist grabbing some shots.  About a hundred inflated balloons were hanging from the ceiling.

Home by lunch time and this afternoon Alice came over for a Spa Day.  Rebel and Buddy knew they were in for some treats and a massage.
They were both loaded with dry mud.

They were loving the attention and were very relaxed.
I put their sheets on before turning them out as it was going to be in the 30s tonight.

When we were walking out of the paddock....Buddy followed Alice and would not leave her.

Tomorrow we are going to watch the Super Bowl with Jenny and Scott and my job....make a chocolate pie.  The crust got all screwy, but it will taste good.  Had to make it tonight as tomorrow our band and two others will be playing for around 85 people we invited to the Lodge in the Park.  Pizza and friends for a free concert.

This is a centerpiece I made out of what I could find in the gardens.  Pretty wild for February.
Tucked the boys in and Gary wanted to go out for dinner.
We drove to Rorbach's and it was totally packed with an hour long wait.  We ended up going to another restaurant in Churchville and got home around 7.
Night all.

  1. I haven't seen Alice for awhile. It seems Buddy is smitten with her! Those are a couple of good photos of you. You look well. And the pie looks delicious.
