Going to Bed Early....

Near 60 and sunny today after being in the low 40s last night.

We had taken these flowers down to the Lodge last night and now they are on our kitchen table...greeting me this morning.

The ponies were waiting for breakfast and I iced Rebel for about 20 minutes.

At 1 I did manage to get down to the Seymour Library for bridge.  Feeling a little better taking this allergy med.  My partner and I came in dead last.

Gary started a fire for me as soon as I got home.
Chores at 6:30.

Rebel is still gimpy.  The vet is coming tomorrow to help me figure out what the problem is.
I think I am going to have to start putting out a little hay during the day.   For months, they generally have only gotten it when they go in for the night.  The grass is fading.
Dinner was simple.
Grilled hots with a delicious Greek Sauce made by the Bread Man, served on half of a toasted roll.
Baked beans and a cucumber/tomato/shallot/red pepper/Greek olive/Feta salad.
I'm so tired.
Night all.

  1. Gary is a good guy. Mark would light a fire if he knew how! I had one for the first time last night. It's good you are feeling better now. I'll be interested in knowing what the vet has to say. The simple meals are always good.
