Peaches and Blueberries

A gorgeous day, except the humidity was pretty high.

After chores I mowed the front paddock before going back in the house.  Then I made a big batch of pasta salad and needed to use some peaches that were getting too soft (threw in some blueberries).  Made a little tart.
Unfortunately there was too much juice and it leaked all over the place.
Tasted good tho.

The kitchen garden is even more out of control.  Today Gary picked 26 cucumbers!

Little Wonder kept me company while I binged on a Netflix series.  A very relaxing afternoon compared to this morning, as we were cleaning the house.  We have a guest for the next two nights,  from Florida and she will be conducting a dressage clinic at the Renaissance Equine Center.  Always a pleasure to host her.  Tonight she presented a lecture.

It was nice and cool this evening, so after dinner (we had three salads)
I started mowing the smaller pasture and put the horses in when I finished.

Night all.

  1. The most important thing is the taste! It's good to read you take some Netflix time, it seems you are always busy. What do you do with all those cucumbers?
