A Little Rain and a Slice of Sunshine

We had more rain today, but the sun finally came out before dinner.  After we ate I mowed until chore time and will finish tomorrow.  It's supposed to be almost 90 and muggy, but today it was in the low 70s and I even opened some windows.  Our Town has fireworks tonight...about 3 miles from here on our road.  Hopefully they won't be too loud... I left the radio on for the horses.  A couple of years ago some neighbors went nuts with fireworks and we had to call the sheriff.  I really don't like that part of the 4th.  So bad for animals and veterans.

Little Wonder loves to sit on the back of the couch so he can see what's going on outside.  We did not do much today.
I made Mac and cheese for dinner with a spinach (from our garden) salad.
Still trying to squeeze in more vegetarian meals.

When I finally got out to the barn, the light was beautiful.

Lots of gnats again.

Tomorrow Brian N. is coming over to take away our manure are pile.  Yay!!!!  It is huge!
Night all.

  1. We had about an hour of rain this morning. Better than nothing. It was tropical here yesterday. It's not as hot but still humid. It's like we are Florida. Happy 4th.
