Five Minus One

It's starting to look like a swamp in the front paddock.  Misty rain the entire day.

After chores Little Wonder and I took a ride down to the bank and Country Max.  He loves going to that store as they give him cookies.
After lunch, I hitched a ride with Greg to the Bodizak's for our Wednesday practice.

One of our band members flew to Florida today and that sure changes the way we sound.  On the 20th we have a gig at the Library in Pavilion.  It is their SPRING FEST and we will be there for four hours.  Today we started working on a set list of over 40 songs and sang as many as we could in 2 1/2 hours.  These beautiful flowers greeted us when we walked in the door.

Got home a little after 4:30.  Made dinner and decided to put Rebel and Buddy in before we ate.  They were getting wetter and I felt sorry for them.

We had a very strange diner.  I sautéed some red peppers and onions, added a bag of our homemade sauce and threw in the leftover rice from last night.  Vegetarian Spanish Rice...and boy, was it good.  We also had leftover coleslaw and finished that up with a side of toasted bread that Chet dropped off.  A mighty weird combination, but the vinegar in the coleslaw made it work.  No more leftovers.
Little Wonder was patiently waiting for us to finish eating.

Night all.

  1. We have sunshine but it's supposed to rain tomorrow. The boys look comfy inside. Your dinner is something I would do. I like those leftover cleanup meals.
