The weather today was better than expected. We actually had sunshine part of the time and the temperature was in the low 40s.
The ponies started off with some hay but ended up scrounging for grass.
It felt like spring to me and I got very ambitious. I was in the barn for three hours and totally cleaned out the run-in by the stalls.
When I got back in the house the visiting nurse was here checking on Gary as a follow up to his appointment with urology yesterday. Everything was good.
My friend Doug came over this afternoon and worked with me on my Bass Baritone Ukulele. We went over the most basic of basics and I learned a lot. Now I have to start practicing. When he left I made a quick trip to Wegmans and picked up two HUGE slices of pizza at Perri's (Gary's request). When I got home Ronin was running around like crazy and that got the other two going.
They were tucked in by 6.
This pizza deal is the best! Two huge pieces for $5.49 and you have four choices. I got one with pepperoni and the other was the special of the day....white sauce and veggies. Cut them in half so we could try each one.
Gary actually made the salad while I was feeding the horses.
So good.
Night all.
Gary the chef back on deck, things are definitely looking on the up and up!!!
ReplyDeleteGood news!
ReplyDeleteWow, you have such a beautiful place!
The wonderful salad tradition continues! The pizza looks really good. It's nice to see Gary is well on his way to being wholly himself. I like seeing Seamus next to Ronin, he has no idea how small he is!
