A very crispy day, but still no snow. It sounds like it's on the way.
While we were out in the cold, Seymour was smart and snoozed on the bed.
At 2:30 I went out to the indoor to take some photos and videos of Ronin. We want to send them to his saddle fitter as Janet is concerned about it fitting him properly. His body has improved over the past several months....more fit, a little heavier. Is the saddle wide enough for him?
He seems a little different when she rides him and acts like he is communicating that something has changed. She removed the saddle and rode him bareback for about 15 minutes to see if it made a difference. Has a lot of guts getting on this 17.2 horse without a saddle. Fortunately he is a very nice boy.
When I returned to the house I sent the photos and videos to Janet and started on a cauliflower casserole for dinner. First I blanched cauliflower, onions, carrots and celery....
then I used the stock to make the base (also added a little chicken stock) with some extra sharp cheddar cheese.
Hard boiled some eggs that I added just before serving. While feeding the ponies, it had just enough time in the oven.
The sunset was gorgeous.
In a week it will start getting lighter at chore time and that will make me very happy
It does not take long to tuck the ponies in at night....and per usual, my two had rolled their brains out.
Dinner was yummy. The salad had walnuts, raisins, bananas and tangerines on romaine.
Night all.
You got some gorgeous photos! Your boys look like they had a good time. Ronan is a big boy!
