This was a very hot and muggy day with a couple of showers. The weatherman said it would feel like 98 degrees.
After chores I did a little weed wacking, grabbed a shower, picked up Hanny and went to Lorna's for bridge. This is the first time we were there while Gus was home.
He is 17 months old and has definately grown up....so cute.
Hanny was my partner and we came in second. However, we all had a good time and were very grateful to be inside having a very relaxed afternoon. Lorna made us a lemon/ricotta cake for dessert.
I didn't get home until 5 and went out to do chores around 6.
It was a perfect night to have a big salad for dinner. I was inspired by the leftover chicken and added romaine, red peppers, cucumbers, orange tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, shallots, crumbly blue and a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing.
Time to relax.
Night all.
Equal to 32 Celsius, way too hot to be doing anything outside. Those sunflowers, no wonder they are blooming, and Gary, no need for a shirt in that heat.
