Have Not Made Tacos For Decades

My Muck Boots have felt so heavy lately,  I switched over to my work boots

this morning...and boy are they old.
The sunshine was spectacular most of the day, but it was still pretty crispy.

After chores I drove down to Tractor Supply looking for a 12 foot gate to put between the barns.  Seamus knows out to get through the 3 strips of tape I had up so it's time to do something about it.
Spent the afternoon in front of the fire.

Seamus and the Rebel really look forward to going in their stalls at night.  No wind makes such a difference....not to mention the good food.

This is how Gary put on Little Wonder's red coat....interesting.

After they were all tucked in I headed back to the house around 6.  Another beautiful sunset.
For some reason I was hungry for tacos and can't even remember the last time I made them.
Tonight we had the soft ones.
I prefer turning mine into a salad and it was delicious!  May have to do this again.
Night all.

  1. I had to scroll back to earlier posts to see LW with his coat on, could it be inside out?? The front fastening with what looks like Velcro is flapping!!!Never mind, Gary tried. Love the wee fellow, Seamus is a darling, even if the tape is not a bother when he gets out.

  2. When we do tacos my husband likes to just crush up a bunch of Tostitos and make himself a big taco salad bowl.

  3. We do our tacos the same way, but I make it as a layered dish that you can dip out and drop onto chips and veggies!
    Yum!
    Time for new boots?

  4. I also haven't made tacos in a long time. Why is that, something so simple?

  5. SmartAlex. I also like like to have a taco "salad" the same way your husband prepares his. I have tried to leave comments on your blog over and over and an error appears every time. Got any suggestions or an email address I could use?
