Very Winterey Today

First I have to send out kudos to Cooper Harvey, who knocked my socks off in last nights basketball game.  He is not a starter (varsity) and the game was very tight from beginning to end.  Coop is the smallest guy on the team, but he has a lot of hustle.  For some reason, the coach put him in during the 3rd quarter (all the starters are 6'2" to 6'5" and the score was close) and didn't he make a three pointer!  So happy that he had the opportunity to play.  Jen, Scott and Gary were there and I watched it on my computer.  Who knows, maybe he will be getting more time in the future.
The weather forecast was not that great...in the 30s with high winds when I went out to the barn.

Of course Little Wonder was happy to get back in the house so he could hang out by the fire.

I made a quick trip to Wegmans, making sure I have everything for Christmas Eve.

By the time I got home it had started to snow.

Vegged for the rest of the afternoon until it was time to make dinner.
Salad, Mac and cheese, and ham loaf.
Have you ever had ham loaf?  Made it just like regular meatloaf but added a topping of brown sugar and mustard.  It's so good.  Gary got a package of it when he went to Peterson's in Jamestown.

The flowers on the kitchen table are still beautiful.

Sidney has been inside and out at least 8 times today.  If he's smart, he will avoid the snow.
Night all.

  1. The pics of your farm in snow look beautiful. Love seeing your meals....it may give me some new ideas! Love your pup and kitty too. We had a lot of black and white cats in my day. Fun to read what's happening at your place. Merry Christmas!

  2. I like the photos you posted, the horses, dog, kitty, and farm. The black and white photo of the windmill is a favorite.
