Christmas Day

Woke up to rain and the temperature was in the 40s.  Yuck.  Christmas Day is always quiet around Skoog Farm.  We eat leftovers and veg much of the day.

While I cleaned Rebel's stall, the horses headed out to the grass and got soaked.  Fortunately they were smart enough to eventually come in and eat hay under the shed roof.

Little Wonder's feet were full of mud.

The snow is gone.

We decided to have leftovers for lunch instead of waiting for dinner.
By then, the fire was going and it put me to sleep.
I binge watched the new season of "Emily in Paris" in between naps, and caught up with a couple friends on the phone.  Evening chore duty....it was still raining.
The Rebel was really soaked and had rolled....so I changed his blanket.

Tomorrow is another day.... Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!
Night all.

  1. We had a nice quiet supper and evening which was nice. It is a relief that this day passed and we are on to the next day.

Tonight we should have nasty wicked weather.
