A hot muggy day. Mowed the lawn, went to Jenny's for a quick dinner, then on to Frontier Field for Finn's graduation.
Judy stopped up for strawberries, spinach, mixed greens, dill and chives.
After eating, we took a few photos of Finn and family.
Arrived at Frontier field around 7:15. A perfect night, good seating and great atmosphere. Loved being outside at this beautiful facility.
A friend of ours, who recently passed (Bill Stewart) created this horse made of baseball gloves for the Red Wing Stadium. Gary's got a couple gloves on there. After all these years, it is still getting a lot of attention.
The entire ceremony was streamed, and Stephanie was watching it out in Kansas City.
We are very proud of Finn and will miss him when he heads off to college.
By the time we got back to the farm, it cooled down enough for Little Wonder to get off the floor and into his bed.
Night all.
How proud we are as grandparents, but I can only imagine Jenn and her family as they celebrate this wonderful milestone. How far away will Finn have to go for the next education level? Both of our grandies went far from their home, Josh went from Rotorua to Wellington 460 km, Dani to Auckland, about half that at 235km. Both way too far if they have problems to be there in a hurry. However they are managing well, Josh has graduated not and is working, the pay packet is SO welcome after 5 years of living on a student loan. Congratulations to Finn , a great achievement.
