Another gorgeous day. Other than mowing the lawn, it was all about the horses.
Jenny arrived a little after three to ride The Rebel.
She spotted a roll of orange ribbon and decided to but a little braid on his tail.
She started off in the rings.....
and then took The Rebel on his first solo ride down the lane.
When they got back, she rode him over to see her Dad, who was planting more tomatoes.
I can't say enough about how fortunate I was to have this horse come into my life. He is kind, a real hunk, carries himself beautifully and could not be sweeter boy.
Dinner was easy....we ate the rest of Jenny's Greek Lasagna, salad and some peas and carrots.
Evening chore duty.
Now I'm ready for a nap!
Night all.
Rebel is a hunk! I bet he loves being under saddle. My little mule kept coming to the gate today. ;)
ReplyDeleteGary, Rebel and Jenny, that is the best of all for today, you must be overjoyed to see Rebel behave so well, and for you all to enjoy the warm day, the birds chirping, down here, rain, a cool wind and snow in the far south.
