#7262 The Real Deal

Now today was perfect.  Sunny, no wind and in the 60s.

Last night I should have chased the sunset.  This is what I got from the porch.  One of these days Little Wonder and I are going to have to take a ride.

As soon as I got out to the paddock, this bunny was just sitting there waiting to see what I was going to do.  Fortunately Little Wonder was not there yet.

My friend Sally (used to be one of my students before she moved to Florida) has been busy with her colored pencils and a coloring book for adults.  The other day she sent me one, and today I sat out on the porch listening to some great music and thought I would give it a shot.  Very relaxing.  Interesting, how so many people are into this.

Today I used my old drag to fluff up the track around the outdoor arena and also did the indoor.
The rake really levels it....but the drag makes it deeper.
Gary is trying to finish up the kitchen garden and that should be done tomorrow.
I went to Wegmans for some goodies as Jenny, Scott and the boys are coming for an afternoon picnic tomorrow.  Tonight we had French toast and sausage for dinner.  That pizza we had last night finished us off and we needed to change the menu.
Evening chore duty.  Amazing light.
Angel is in a raging heat.

Berlin and Rebel sported their new masks today.

There was good light in the barn...no surprise.

All Rebel wanted to do, was get in his stall for some chow.

I mowed the grass in the front paddock to get it to thicken up and mulched all the leftover hay.
Off duty now.
Night all.

  1. Looks like you were super busy! Love the sunset colors. We have had over cast nights or super clearn skies. I'm usually in bed right after sunset these days.
