Post #7198. Better Than I Expected

Much of the day was cool and it felt very damp....but by late afternoon the sun appeared and it was gorgeous.

At noon Leah came to trim Berlin and Rebel....they both look great.  Berlin has never had shoes on in her entire life and her feet are always perfectly shaped and strong.  Rebel, on the other hand, has white feet, his front toes grow fast and his back feet stay in pretty good shape.  He always wore shoes during camp as he was jumping and working hard.

While I was making a cauliflower casserole for dinner....

Gary was out working in the gardens...
and the quartet was vegging in the sunshine.
The rhubarb is perking up
and so is the garlic.
Jenny was kind enough to drop off a chicken breast stuffed with caramelized onions and cheese,
so we were all set when it was time to eat.

Nice to have something different for a change.

I had chore duty tonight and went out around 7.

I cleaned up The Rebel earlier and he just had to roll again.

Sidney came in the house with us....

and now we are off duty.

Night all.

  1. My equine are all mud puppies right now. I groomed all of them the other day and boy did we have hair!
Looks like you had a great weekend.
