At the starting gate this morning.
Phoebe joined us, but ended up having a rough morning.
Just when you think she's reached her limit, she snaps back and looks like this.
Irresistible.
Personally, I'm not out of control over the super bowl, but I did make a game dinner.
Night all.
PS
Our oldest granddaughter (Ariana) is teaching 9th Grade Composition at a school in Las Vegas, and she also coaches the Varsity Girls Flag Football team. A couple nights ago they had their first win. This sport had never been played at her school so she was starting off fresh. Fortunately, she had played 3 years of flag football in High School and 1 year of co ed flag football at Boise State.
She said....
"a lot of my girls are first generation Americans! 3 are from Ethiopia and speak Amharic, 3 are from Mexico and speak spanish, 1 is from El Salvador and speaks spanish, and the last one is from Ukraine and speaks Russian!"
What a great experience. So proud of her.
That is awesome.
ReplyDeleteI guess I missed the superbowl. I cannot recall the last time we saw football. I think that ended when Rich's father passed on. They used to sit together and watch games.
The pride a grandparent has , has no limits, and to have all those in her team speaking other languages, well done .
ReplyDeletePhoebe couldn't be more adorable if she tried. Congratulations to Ariana, what a great experience for all.
