We had snow. It was grey. Now it's very muddy. Sun came out.
Gary spends time splitting wood almost every day as
our stove is on about 10 or 12 hours.
Grace came out to ride Elliott today. He was much happier last week
when Angel was in the ring with him.
How's this for contrast? All the snow melted within hours.
It rained so much last night, we now have a pond in the big pasture.
Tucked the ponies in....
and picked up a pizza at Wegmans for dinner.
We are loving their thin crust. Tasted so good.
Night all,
Gary, you need a wood splitter, and NOT the manual kind.We had one, petrol motor, big wedge, and sold it when we moved, now buying all our wood instead of doing the very hard hours. imagine snow one day and gone so soon, down here heavy rain in places, thunder on the cards, so all set for some indoor projects.
ReplyDeleteI recall when my husband and his dad would split wood together. Whack, whack, whack. My FIL used to say how wonderful wood was. It would warm him up when he first cut down the tree, when he split it, and then when he burned it.

Looks like spring there!
