Post #7141 Sunshine Saved the Day

It was almost 10 degrees this morning, but eventually the sun came out and it felt a lot warmer.  Made it to the 20s later on.

Did you ever try grilled cheese with roasted red peppers?
Yesterday's pie is going fast.  Should make it to tomorrow.
Gary spent quite awhile splitting wood and we did not start a fire until noon.
Of course that set the tone for the rest of the day.

I watched a movie and eventually had evening chore duty.  Took the dogs out for a potty break and shoveled part of the driveway while I was waiting for them.  Didn't Phoebe start hopping around, wanting to play!  I got to her just when she was ready to faint and by the time we were in the kitchen she was standing around like normal.  This is just going to keep happening.
That did not stop her from going out with me and Little Wonder for evening chores....

Gary picked her up and brought her to the house while I finished feeding.
Now tell me!  Does this look like a sick puppy that will be 16 in a few weeks?

Got the ponies tucked in, then it was time for our dinner.
A friend gifted us some meatballs, so I threw on some of our homemade sauce and had to make some pasta to go under it,

Tasted great.
Phoebe and Little Wonder were happy as they got to split a meatball.
Night all.

  1. She is being a dog and being herself not conscious of being sick or old. I want to be like her!
    It looks beautiful there!
