A Birthday Dinner for Finn

Chores, pasture mowing, chocolate covered strawberries, Coops' game
and a beautiful sunset.

Gary picked a bowl of strawberries.....
and I did my best to dip them in chocolate (that would not cooperate).
They did taste good.

At 3 we went to Jennys' to celebrate Finns' birthday with a nice dinner.
Brought some sunflowers, BBQued beans and our own potatoes.
Finn had already played a double header and they won both games.
He was pooped.  It was hot out there.

Delicious!!!!
Finn will be 17 tomorrow.

What a cutie!

I went back to the farm to do evening chores....

and eventually ended up at Coops' ballgame.  He played center field, first base and pitched.

They called the game because of darkness.

But what a beautiful sunset.....

 Night all.

  1. A sunset out of this world to finish a glorious day. Happy Birthday Finn, if your heat was anything like that further west, too hot to play anything outside.
