Phoebe and the Brockport Animal Hospital

This morning Phoebe was just not acting normal.
She was breathing fast and had a raspy sound.
She went outside for a few minutes....

and as soon as the Animal Hospital opened I called and
got an appointment for 9:45.
She needed to get an x-ray and it showed a slightly enlarged
heart with liquid in the sack surrounding it.  It pushed up
on her esophagus and I imagine that is what was causing
the sound.  Her left lung was not quite right either.
So, she is now on three meds for 10 days and next Friday
has to go in for another x-ray.
When we got back to the farm, she acted pretty normal
and

 ate her lunch.
We took it easy all afternoon and she was happy to go outside.

 I had evening chore duty.
Again, she went out for a few minutes.

She ate all of her dinner and had her first round of meds.
An excellent patient.

Tucked Rebel and the girls in and then went back to
the house for dinner.
Ham loaf, corn salad and baked potatoes.

Looks like a lot of mush, but it was delicious.
That's it.

Night all.
