What a Day!
After chores Ariana and I started moving mulch.
After Finn and Coop arrived a lot more was moved and the gardens are shaping up.
At 6pm there was a Soldiers Memorial Tower Sign Dedication.
For years work has been done to restore it.
The turnout was great and we even had a Gator to assist people who were unable to make the walk.
It was quite a ceremony!
The cannon roared twice.
Sergeant Mike Ryan, the 140th, read us some history about the tower and civil war veterans.
The Gettysburg Address was read by Andrew Leverenz, a Brockport HS student
A very impressive ceremony.
From there I went over to BROCKSTOCK, which was held by the Canal
as part of the Sidewalk Sale.
Food, drinks and three bands.
I missed the first band...Elements 36,
but did catch Nerds in Denial.
When they finished, Jimmy Z introduced
The Bob Greco Party Band.
They were great....
It's not too often you can get people up to dance...but they did tonight.
Got home a little after 9.
Enough for one day.
Night all.
