New Year's Eve Afternoon....Celebrating

Red sky this morning.  You know what that means!

The amaryllis plant that was given to us by Roger and Tina is almost
ready to show us it's full bloom.
All this just today.

This afternoon we went to a Gust of Sun Winery to celebrate the 25th anniversary
of Linda and Mark K.

Congratulations!

The place was packed with food, family and friends!

I was too busy jabbering to take a lot of photos,
but let me tell you!  They had an amazing spread.

A nice way to spend New Year's Eve since
we will be staying home tonight....as usual.
My favorite place to be on December 31st.

We got back to the farm just in time for me to heat up
the beet pulp and get out to the barn.
It had been raining for a little while and the horses
needed to go in.

And here is what that red sky brought us.
Since we indulged at the anniversary celebration,
there was no need for lunch or dinner today!
Night all.

 PS
All day long we have been getting high wind warnings.
Between 10 and midnight it could get pretty wild and
the temperature might go up to 60 degrees.  By tomorrow morning,
it should be around 29.
CRAZY
