A Very Busy Day!

Dull...all day.  Very grey and melting a little at a time.
Gary helped me with chores again.

Around 11 I headed down to the Morgan Manning House for
Candlelight Christmas.

The place was packed with handmade goods and people.

 Rosie was on duty.
A perfect opportunity to buy Christmas gifts for all ages.

This is a painting of Seymour and Sidney by my pal Brenda Cretney.
And a carving by Al....  His birds were sold out right off the bat!

 Alicia and Eugenia!
Sisters.
I got back to the farm by 12;30 and Gary had been putting a few things back together
since those areas were primed and painted.  It's going to look great.
I am so ready to unload all kinds of things.
This kitchen is going to look different!
I made a big batch of applesauce for my friend Helen, who just had surgery,
and dropped it off at 5;30.
After that I picked up Mary and we drove out to Tavern 19 for a
Holiday Gathering with some friends.
Wood fired pizza.  Delicious.

While I was gone, Gary turned the corner painting, and is almost to the halfway mark.
 Now it's time to rest!

 Night all.

  1. Dear Lori, the items at the craft fair showed so much creativity. Such whimsy and loveliness. And the white spotted cat--is that Sydney? He/she looks so much life Dulcy, the sweet cat with whom I lived for 17 1/2 years. After her death, she gave me the two gift books "A Cat's Life: Dulcy's Story" and "A Cat's Legacy: Dulcy's Companion Book." She was and is so dear to me.

I have a third gift book now for cat lovers: "The Gift of Nine Lives." It is part of the Bastet-Net Fantasy series that I'm writing. I so enjoyed writing that book and my friend Judy so enjoyed illustrating it. I am so blessed to have a passion for writing. It is one of the gifts for which I am most grateful during this season of gratitude and joy. Peace.
