Icy Windshields...

Rebel and the girls are getting pretty fluffy with the big drop in temperature.

I had to run a couple of errands this morning and picked up a butternut squash.
Soup sounded just right for dinner.

Just 4 ingredients plus salt and pepper.
2 onions, 1 squash, 3 apples and 2 cups of chicken stock.
I needed some new flowers for my kitchen table before they get frozen.
Tomorrow it is supposed to be 61!

Steve and Corey worked on the barn for a long time today.  The only part left is the front and the windows.  It is looking so much better.

By late afternoon I was headed for a nap.
Good light.

 Dinner was delish!!!!
The salad....romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled beets and onions,
crumbly blue and a country French dressing.
I'm ready to get back out by the fire.

Night all.

  1. A view through what looks like pine trees to what might be golden Aspens??? Beautiful. 61F is about 15C, so quite cool.
