A Big Swing In Temperature!

The front paddock is still a muddy mess, but the pastures are fine.
We had a little rain, but the horses were very happy to hang out and eat.

Steve was here working on the East side of the indoor and made a lot of progress.
Our little veggie gardens are still producing and
I can't walk by without picking something.

At 1 I went down to the Community Center for a meeting.
The gardens out front are still in very good shape.

Before going home I took a couple of friends on a tour of the Town Park.
That included the Dog Park, which has been called the best in our County by many.
 It's divided into two sections....large dogs/small dogs...
and they even have a swimming pool!
There is also a huge grassy space with big trees and benches.
This dog was getting rinsed off with a hose when he finished getting his exercise.
By that time it was 81 degrees.
Work was being done on an all inclusive playground that should be finished soon.

I've shown you the Lodge before.
It has been a very popular venue for community and Town activities
The pond is stocked for anyone who wants to catch and release.
All the baseball fields look like they are part of a golf course....so green.

I did not get home until 4:30 and Steve was still working.
As you can see, the outdoor arena does not look too hot.
The horses came into the indoor as soon as Steve finished for the day.

Obviously there was some rolling going on.

 Dinner was easy.
A fresh salad with fruit....
left over chicken and mashed potatoes.
(I finished up the chutney too)
I need a nap.
Night all.
