First Raspberry Pie...

It's making a comeback....
The transition from nice and cool to muggy brought on some fog.

After chores I watched the service for John McCain
and really believe his wish was to show this country that it is
possible to work together.
We got a last minute phone call that friends were driving up from Jamestown to get
some of Gary's seed garlic, so I quickly picked some raspberries
and threw together a no bake pie.

They arrived at 3:30
and had plans to stop at Sunset Bay on Lake Erie for dinner
so they did not want pie first.
A gazillion bees are loving one of the garden sculptures.
This is the second year they have returned.
My pal Rebel rolled and managed to lose his mask again.
He and the girls spent a lot of time in the indoor today, but there was no breeze and
it was still pretty hot.

After Anita and Dave left, we had leftovers from last night.
Gary turned on the TV and there was Ariana's college
(Boise State) playing in Alabama.  I wonder which team won.
 I had evening chore duty.
Hopefully the barn will cool off soon.

We had dessert when I got back in the house.
Night all.
