Taco Salad

 I met a friend for lunch at Java, then went to Wegmans and picked

up some gorgeous shirts for Gary for Father's Day.

Tomorrow is Jenny's birthday and they are coming here for dinner... I am responsible for shish ke bobs and a rhubarb pie

I bought all the makings for bean salad (six kinds of beans, corn, peppers, onions and blanched carrots) so we could have a meatless taco salad tonight.  

I have not made one of these for years.

 Romaine lettuce

 tomatoes

 bean salad

 sour cream

 salsa

 organic lime chips

 Catalina dressing

 and extra sharp cheddar cheese.

 I smoushed it altogether before eating it.

I'm going to have to get serious about having big salads

a couple times a week.  Delicious.

 After dinner we went down to the Town Park to watch Cooper's ball game.

 They did not win, but he did a fabulous job planning first base

 and one of his hits was great!

 Finn and Jenny were there.

 Can you believe how big Finn is next to Gary?
