Progress

Cool this morning and around 3am it was absolutely pouring.
All that water must be good for something, as we have blossoms all over the place.

Gary had the day off and spent much of it organizing and planting.

Jenny came up for lunch and took her dogs (Buster and Ice) for a walk out back while
work was being done at her house.

Phoebe and Little Wonder were not to excited about their visitors.

Around 2:30 they had yet another visitor!  Janice (neighbor/friend) stopped over
with a dozen eggs....from her chickens who live in a mansion.  She brought along her little Corgi, who is such a doll.  Phoebe and Little Wonder need more time socializing.
I gave Janice enough rhubarb for a pie.

We had a short period of rain today, but much of the time it was sunny.
After dinner it looked like this.
I had picked enough rhubarb to make a pie for us and
it's going to take forever to cool.  Just took it out of the oven.
 Such a beautiful evening.

Night all.

  1. Beautiful flowers!! We have lots of blooms here too, the rain has really gotten everything growing - We even have grass where it isn't usually growing. I'm not going to complain.

  2. Socializing is a tough one, I thought your guys were doing so well and when they see a big dog I imagine it may make them a bit timid? Dixie is huge and so Charlie has no issue with huge dogs. He thinks little dogs are dogs to chase....well I guess he thinks big dogs are too!
    Beautiful!
I need to set up a place to have a clematis!
