It's About That Wind....

Phoebe and Little Wonder went out to the barn with me this morning
and neither of them lasted very long.   It had to be 0 or lower with the wind.

I put hay in the paddock and the indoor.

I managed to get them all to come in so they would know the hay was there.

I made myself go to Agape late morning
and then met Judy at Java for a salad.
I went home, grabbed a shower and drove back down to the village for a haircut.
When I got back to the farm, the pups went out and I got organized for dinner.

Check out day two with the hibiscus blossom.
Could it be more beautiful?

On days like this, the fire makes winter so much nicer.
 Dinner?
Corn bread, apples, cheddar cheese, deviled eggs and corn chowder.

Finished my book last night and have to find another.
Night all.

  1. The hibiscus is absolutely gorgeous! I’m back home enjoying the cold and ice. Not as cold as you we’re in the 20’s today. Good for you for going to Agape. I need to start exercising again😉

  2. I love Phoebe and Little Wonder's coat - They're perfect for this weather! As is your dinner at the end of the day. Warmer weather ahead for us this weekend;I can't wait!

  3. I've never seen a hibiscus like that, absolutely stunning. We have warmer milder weather coming today and the temps are going to be more normal afterwards. Phew! Time we got a break from the real deep cold.
