Time to Dig Out The Hats and Gloves...

We had a major frost last night.  But before I went out to the barn the light in the kitchen was splendiferous and I had no idea how cold it was.  Not even 35 degrees.

How these blossoms hang in there is beyond me.

 Class at 10:30.

I'm not sure how much longer we will be able to work in the Studio.  I put the little stove on at 8am and it was not all that warm by the time we got out there.

I spent much of the afternoon working on the political scene.
Not too much longer.
Gary continued painting the picket fence and I made veggie burgers, roasted potatoes
and a carrot/apple/craisin/walnut salad for dinner.
Just right for a cold night.
I had to go down to the Rec Center to check on a cabinet that will be set up tomorrow.
It's going in the Gathering Room that I have been working on.
A perfect place to store cups, coffee etc. and we can set the coffee pot on the counter.
The room is really starting to develop and I have been taking flowers there for the past month.
I also had to go to Wegmans and then wallyworld to pick up cartridges for my printer.
A TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!! $26.99 for black and $30.99 for color.  Ridiculous!!!!!
That's more than the printer cost.
It was pitch black before 7pm.
Home by 8 and ready to crash.
Night all.

  1. Printer inks are so expensive here too, we go to Cartridge World, where they are a cloned cartridge. No wonder some printers are so cheap. Will this be the start of your really cold mornings?

  2. I just picked up printer cartridges at Costco this week and they had the best price I have ever found- color ink and 2 black cartridges came to around $130. Next time we buy a printer I will check out the cost of the cartridges before I buy the printer. We used to pay around $30 per cartridge with our other printer. What a surprise the cost of these ink cartridges were with our current printer.
    Love your photos.

  3. I had the same thing with printer cartridges. It’s ridiculous! Love the room you put together.

  4. LOL on the printer ink! I just get an updated printer every two years or when I need one. The print cartridges are too expensive plus I rarely print stuff at home any more.
We should get our first killing frost fairly soon, it is late for us. Usually we have a few by now.
