Get ready.
Lots of photos today.
Abbe (Miss Piggy) sure requires a lot of fresh bedding.
Whoa! The wind kicked up and it was cool enough for a sweatshirt this morning.
I had to go to Wegmans for a few things and just had to
grab some shots of the sunflowers
that were for sale.
When I got back to the farm, Gary had cut down about 10 or more volunteer black walnut trees
that have been growing about a foot a month with all this rain. The dogs and I helped pick up the mess. So much easier to work when it's cool.
A woman from Chili and her daughter stopped by for some garlic and just as they were leaving I found out that they read "The Adventures of Little Wonder."
Of course I had to take him (and Phoebe) out for introductions.
It cracks me up that he has a following on FaceBook.
This is the 365th day I have posted pictures of him.
The carrots are ready, so Gary picked a few this afternoon.
He had to go down to the Welcome Center for extra duty, and I mowed the lawn.
We have a lot of volunteer sunflowers on the side of the indoor that grew up through the garlic
(which was harvested weeks ago).
The horses (especially Angel) were interested in my lawn mowing technique.
It was cool enough to have some spags, so I invited Judy up for dinner.
I tucked the horses in while she and Gary had coffee....
then we chatted until it was dark.
A full moon.....
Night all.
Everything looks very pretty at your place. Amazing that LW has a following. He's a star.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed every moment of my visit here . . . what a lovely way to spend your day. I love the view from your outdoor dining table, how sweet and relaxing it must be to eat out there. Country living, it's the best!
ReplyDeleteConnie :)
