Brockport's in the News...

A gorgeous day....period!

I finished the chores just in time to get the pups in the house, as Gordy arrived to do some
work for us.  This area was full of bamboo, weeds, scrub trees and other crapola.
His job was to knock it down and create a ginormous compost pile....

Magic!  Now we have to rake and seed it.  Much more grass is in our future.
Class at 10:30.  Moved it up a day since yesterday was the 4th.

Notice the changes....

While I was teaching, Gordy dragged the two arenas.
 They look so level!

At 3 I got a haircut and by 5 we were down at the Welcome Center.
John Kucko from Channel 8 News has been going all over the place doing the evening
(once a week) broadcast and tonight Brockport was on the docket.
He interviewed Heidi, the college president, who is here with Gary showing off
Channel 8 sunglasses.
 He also interviewed the mayor

 a choreographer
 and a composer.

We have a very full calendar of events this week, and one of them features the
Albany Symphony.  They have selected 7 towns along the Erie Canal where they will perform while on a barge....and Brockport is one of them.
A piece has been composed for our village and dancers from the college will be
performing an original piece.  A unique collaboration.

We went to the Stoneyard for dinner.

Glad to be home.
Night all.
