After chores I started mowing the lawn. Gary was going to have help pulling garlic until the sky started to look like this.
I headed back to the lean to when it started to sprinkle and by the time I parked the lawn tractor it started raining like crazy.
I got soaked going back to the house and then it really started to come down in buckets!
After taking a shower, I headed down to Brockport to meet 8 others for lunch at the Red Bird.
Chris Cook was in town so we got together and caught up on all that's going on in her world.
As per usual, the food was outstanding.
Jo surprised us with these incredible cupcakes.
The weather was ok when I got back to the farm, so I finished mowing the lawn.
Little Wonder and Phoebe watched for awhile....it was so muggy.
In spite of his gimpyness, Gary did worked with the garlic for awhile.
Tonight we grilled out hots and had a picnic dinner.
Night all.
Looks like another good day at your place. Always nice to see the pups!
ReplyDeleteIt was great to see you, Lori, and everyone!
ReplyDeleteWe've had days of heat and nights of storms. We feel like we are living in the tropics and not really WI!
ReplyDeleteDear Lori, it seems to me that not many younger people use the word "muggy" anymore. At least I don't hear it much. But oh, the heat and humidity here has made for much "mugginess"!
ReplyDeleteThe meal did look delicious, but then your photos of food always make me salivate! Peace.
Your had the rain and mugginess yesterday, we had it today. Of course, I blame myself for the weather. It would have been different if I didn't have the dogs groomed and the car washed. Happens every time!
