Once again the morning light was gorgeous.
It was in the mid 70s right off the bat and ended up in the high 80s....muggy and buggy.
There was a retired teachers luncheon at 11:30 so I ran a couple errands on the way.
By the time I got back to the farm I could really feel the heat.
I moved things around in the Studio so I could get this little "bed" out of the house.
It's a huge piece of very dense sponge. The dogs are going to love it.
Gary did not get home until 4 and was ready for a quick nap before heading out to his
board meeting. I spent some time walking a Netflix series.
Tomorrow it's supposed to be even hotter. Quite an adjustment!
Night all
I'm takin' it easy for the duration.
It did get hot quick. When I went to pick up my granddaughter from school today the car registered 97. It was 93 when we got to her house. By the time I got home tonight around 6 it was down to 88. Tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter. I'm so glad I have air conditioning!
ReplyDeleteI see it was 27C in Perth, Ontario yesterday. And for you, suddenly heat every day. No wonder those bulbs are blooming so fast.
ReplyDeleteLittle Wonder it looks like some buddy just combed your pretty hair

We had the heat and then some nasty storms move through in waves. Today? I could wear a winter coat and mow the yard ... that is, if the yard wasn't a swamp!
