I Can't Wait!

40 on Friday....77 on Tuesday.
Tonight through Saturday a couple of inches of rain and flood warnings.
CRAZY!!
This morning it was cool and we had no rain.
One of the grass paddocks was dry enough for me to set out breakfast for the girls.
We still  have not heard from our insurance adjuster and are patiently waiting to see what can be done about our barn roofs.  Yesterday we had high winds and another wheelbarrow full of shingles fell to the ground.
 It's still very muddy here.

The "pond" was a little smaller today, but it will end up being 3 times that size by Saturday if we get as much rain as they are predicting.

After chores I decided that it was time to go to Agape to see if some exercise will
help me with my stiffness.  Had not been there for 2 months!!!
I did 16 minutes on the elliptical and 15 on the bike.  At least it's a start.
It did not seem to have any negative impact on me so I'm going to keep it up.
(My Doc thinks I have bursitis)
I my way home I picked up a few things at Wegmans.  These are my flowers of the week.
They will look a lot more interesting tomorrow.
At 2:30 I had my annual appointment in Rochester with my Dermatologist.  All clear, yes.
After that I stopped at a lab and had blood drawn to make sure all is well.
Hopefully I can catch a break now.

When I got back to the farm Little Wonder was out in the yard with Gary and brought a stick in the house so he could make a mess.

 Karen had chore duty...

(by then we actually had some sunshine)
 so I worked on dinner.
It was great!  Organic chicken thighs, sweet potatoes, asparagus and coleslaw.
Night all.

  1. I'm hoping the rain stops soon. We are a muddy mess too.

  2. Keep nagging your insurance adjuster or your agent. I used to be an insurance underwriter and nothing made me move faster or urge the claim people than a call from a client.
Mud is the word here. Muck, actually. I nearly had my boots sucked off in the 'stucking' mud!
