Phoebe and Little Wonder joined me in the barn this morning.
The temperature was in the high 30s and it was a little misty off and on.
What a mucky mess.
After chores I grabbed a quick shower and drove to Batavia for a 10am dental appointment.
It's around 20 miles from here and on the way home I
took the back
roads.
When I got back to the farm, the girls were just hanging out.
At least it was not raining and they were all wearing their medium Rambos.
At 1pm I was at The Center to play duplicate bridge.
Such a great card game.
I got home at 4
and did not have to
make dinner, as Gary had a dinner/board meeting.
The fire was very inviting and I managed to
make the dogs and myself something simple.
Carina's Challah bread was calling me.
A salad with apples and craisins along with
shells and peas with Romano cheese, topped with some
leftover peppers and olives.
Now, we are feeling like wet noodles and need a nap.
Night all.
We will get through it together!
ReplyDeleteDo you want belly rubs? We are going to have 4 days of wet grey blahs
ReplyDeleteSnorts,
Lily & Edward
Oh I see it is wet and mucky there. Sigh. It has been a strange year of weather so far. Today's fog was so dense my neighbor used her car's gps to help her navigate the roads and search for intersections.
ReplyDeleteLW doesn't seem bothered at all by the grey blahs!
