Finally, we could leave the windows open today.
After chores I worked on my playbook as we were supposed to perform at the Sidewalk Sale in Brockport today and I needed to get all the songs in order. Just before set up it poured and our audience disappeared. So, we decided to forget about it and play in front of the Studio tomorrow during the last day of the Sale.
Instead of going home I went straight over to Margay and Ulpis belated summer solstice party.
It's always a good time with great food and company.
Mary, my partner in crime, was there.
Ulpi makes the best fruit salad ever.
Gary arrived after I did, as he was still working on garlic at the farm.
Lauren, Roseanne and I played and sang for about an hour. It's the first time we've done this, so we were doing a lot of adlibbing.
On my way out, I had to stop and grab my camera again.
The light on the flowers was perfecto.
Headed home....
cut up some carrots for the girls, then Phoebe and I went out to do chores.
Apparently Abbe thought rolling in the wet whatever was a good idea.
Time out.
Night all.
What a nice day. I enjoyed my early morning and late afternoon. The weather was picture perfect here.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a nice time despite being rained out for your performance. Great pictures of the flowers.
