Look Up...

Well, today we had a slight cool down, and right now it feels pretty good with the windows open and no fans running.

After chores I went to Brockport for a meeting at the Town Hall...9:30.
When that was over, I picked up my friend Judy and we went over to Roger and Tina's to get some exercise in their pool.
The gardens are getting more and more beautiful.  Does anyone know the name of this flower?

We treaded water for 70 minutes, and it felt divine!
Judy tried to take a video of me jumping off the board as two of Jenny's friend said they would pay money to see me do it.  I looked so ridiculous it can't be shown.

After lunch I spent a couple of hours filing a stack of papers that were related to Town business.
At this moment, I am caught up.  Next, I have to file a huge stack of personal stuff.  Really do not enjoy that job.
We had a simple dinner.
 Zucchini parm....
veggie burgers with cheese and onions...
and coleslaw made with a cabbage from our garden.
Now, all I want to do is put my feet up and read.
I'll bet the girls were much happier today.
Night all.

PS
We have talked it over with Bentley's foster mom, and think he would be better off in a different situation.  I'd love to have him, but there is too much activity around here, and he can't be upset by men all the time.  He needs  to learn about trust and believe that he can be treated well.  Such a cutie.  Fortunately, there is no rush to place him and they will be very sure before he goes anywhere.  That's what I love about this rescue organization.

  3. Bet that pool felt great! We're in the 90's here and I'm not loving it. Hope Bentley finds a home that suits his personality and needs. He's such a cutie. Lovely flowers I wish I had a green thumb!
