Rehearsal and Luncheon....

Once again the sunrise woke me up....at 5:40am.

After chores I grabbed a quick shower and drove to the Baptist Church in Brockport,
where the Sweden Senior Singers were having a dress rehearsal.  Their concert is
Friday night and we are going to miss it.  They sounded great!

At 11:30 there was a retired teachers luncheon at 58 Main.
This is held every spring at this time and it was great to see so many people at once.

I was home by 2 and decided to start my attack on the sticky weeds.
They have taken over all of the gardens and it will take forever to get rid of them.

Gary had a dinner/board meeting tonight, so I made myself a big salad.
Spinach, chicken, caramelized onions, apples, golden raisins, peanuts and Swiss cheese.
Perfect.
Karen had chore duty...such a beautiful evening.
As I am writing this, the sun is beaming into the library,
where the Gerber daisies are starting to fade.
Night all.

  2. Your place becomes so engaging as spring unfolds. So beautiful. I think tomorrow I'll take my coffee and sit on the ridge to watch the sun come over the horizon. Just cuz.

  3. You make the most amazing different salads! They look so good, and in combos that I'd likely never think of. Inspirational and delicious! Those yellow tulips are just gorgeous!!! Can you find out their name and let me know? I'd love to get some, they're just beautiful. Thanks Lori

  4. I had my own battle with weeds this week, no fun! We also had our end of school luncheon this week. Our retired teachers always attend and we all get to visit. Great times!
