Four Piggies In Blankets....

It rained all night.
Stopped by morning.
Fed and turned out the horses.
It started to rain again.
Maggie and Angel went straight for the ditch and started pawing in the water.
Yes, the bottom of their blankets were soaked.

They all managed to roll, then ran into the front paddock.

Of course Abbe was the filthiest.
I got cleaned up and was already to go down to A Different Path for the Jam Session...
decided I had better put the girls in the barn.
They were getting drenched by the rain.

This was the best session so far.
 There were 11 of us.
7 Guitars, 1 electric baritone uke, my baritone uke and a mandolin.
The 11th person was Ruby, Jim's daughter.
She sang and was fantastic.
(Now she wants a baritone uke and her Dad is ready to go for a ukulele group....yay!!!!
He teaches music.)

Afterward, George (black cowboy hat) was jammin....blues, and I started making
up a song about black-eyed peas.  What an absolute blast!  Now I would love to work
on lyrics to go with his music.  Getting carried away.

When I got home around 3:30 it was not raining, so I put the girls back out.

Didn't it start to rain again!
They did not want any part of it and were happy to get tucked in.
The temperature fell from the 40s to the 30s with snow and heavy winds.

Dinner....supper....organic hot dogs with beans and a side of coleslaw.

I can't wait to go out tomorrow morning.  The temp with the windchill is supposed to be
between 0 and 10 degrees.
Night all.
