Off Duty

Grey, in the 40s and very dull outside.
I was too lazy to get out my big camera to take shots of the moon last night...but it was a beauty.
I did not even wake up until 7:30 this morning....rare.  It's a good thing Karen was out there doing chores.  As you can see, Abbe was looking like Miss Piggie again (before I brushed her dry mud off).
 Maggie was slightly better.
Sidney is loving the deep bedding in the back of the barn and I had to wake him up to come in the house for his breakfast.  Our three cats split a can of moist food with their dry each morning and then have dry available the rest of the day.
Even tho it was not a very nice day, it's rare that we have grass on Christmas day.
Jen and the boys came up for lunch...leftovers from last nights feast.
Around 2:45 we drove to Rochester....
to visit Scott, who was admitted to Highland Hospital Wednesday night.
Hopefully he won't be there long.  He already had company when we arrived
and then Jenny joined us.  We probably pooped him out.
As soon as we got home I changed my clothes and went out to feed the girls.
I really did groom Abbe this morning, and tonight she looked filthier than ever.

Berlin must be standing on her head, there were so many little mud balls in her forelock.
The first sign of any light appeared at sunset.

All I want to do is sit down, read and fall asleep.
Night all.
