Blue Apron Number 3

After chores, Jenny and Scott stopped in so he could take a look at the lawn mower deck.  They were in a huge truck filled with mulch for her gardens.

He thought it would be ok to use it, so I decided to start on the pastures.

I've got one big section left and will do that tomorrow.

Sara's has been outrageously busy so Gary worked some extra hours.  He got home around 4 and started planting beans and beets.
I started working on our third Blue Apron Dinner.
Tonight...Orecchiette Pasta.
First, I set up the ingredients.
After that I just followed the directions...

Another excellent dish.  I love everything about Blue Apron...the recipes, quality ingredients and the end results.  It's just out of my price range, so I will not continue after my delivery next week.  If you work and don't have time to shop, Blue Apron is for you.  It's less expensive than going out to eat and it's not the same old same old.
After dinner I was ready for a nap.
Instead, I went out to do chores.

This morning we had another frost warning, but we lucked out again.
It was 64 when I went out to tuck the girls in.

 Night all.
I can't keep my eyes open.

  1. love your new header, are the peonies? Iris, green grass, looking very spring like... down here a cold wind, and further south, way down, 0 Celsius, snow, about 8 inches tonight!!! We won't get any, but 2 hours north will be 4-6 inches maybe.

  2. I thought about you and your gardens this morning as we had heavy frost. I am glad it missed you.

The blue apron thing sounds great, but it's way out of my price range too unfortunately.

  3. At our place here, it takes me 1 1/2 hours to mow with our Toro... that and sunblock 30. Mowin' and thinkin'. Good times!

  4. Your pastures look great. Blue Apron sounds like a good thing but price wise I think it might be a little high. The food looks good though.

  5. We have a Kubota diesel zero turn that we use to mow all of our lawn areas. It takes about 2-3 hours to mow it all by the time we do all along our super long long driveway, around all the barns, around our house, etc.

I've enjoyed your Blue Apron reviews. The food does look delicious. It would be nice to have a few nights a week where I didn't have to make sure I had all the ingredients on hand and didn't have to really think at all. Just pull the food out and follow directions.
