I Hope You Voted Today...

The temperature worked it's way up to the low 60s and it felt great.

Mulched all the hay in the front paddock while it wasn't drenched.
Class at 10:30.  After today, we will probably have to start meeting in the house.  My little stove is not strong enough to heat this space.

Went down to the Rec Center to vote...the turnout was pretty good for an off year.
Jenny's boss is running for another term in the State Assembly and I sure hope he wins.
I ran into the Rec Center Director today and we had a very long talk about our Center.  She is the liaison between it and the Town Board...things are looking very good and it's an absolute pleasure to experience true cooperation.  It's been a long time coming.
 Chores at 5.

Gary spent the afternoon with Finn and Coop.  When he got home, we went down to Barber's for a burger.  Ran into a very successful local businessman and had a discussion about The Center.  Looks like we may be getting 3 computers and a flat screen TV in the near future.  It does not hurt to ask.  Such generosity!
What a day!
Night all.

  1. I was surprised at the huge turnout we had around here too for an off election year.

Hit the 60's here too. Maybe we're not going to have another miserable winter. Fingers crossed.

  2. Vote?
    You betchca.
And all for naught too. I think everyone and thing, I cast, failed miserably. There are days where I come to understand the word 'apathy'.
